ABOUT US
As Team IGNITE, the first Art & Tech student team in the Netherlands, we focus on displaying the potential of light.
Team IGNITE is a student light design studio, focusing on displaying the potential of light for societal impact. To achieve this, we have set up a community with design and engineering students from different backgrounds and different educational institutions. Our ambition is to educate the creative engineers of the future by bridging the gap between design and technology through light design.

PROJECTS
After a kick-start in 2017 through the development of IGNITE’s first installation featured at GLOW Eindhoven, a foundation was formed to iterate on in the future. As a result, a range of new GLOW projects has been developed with success up until the present, with features from evoking interactive and social engaging experiences to creating navigation management solutions. Due to high interest among students and partners, Team IGNITE started broadening its impact, exploring additional application areas for light design and conducting multiple projects at once. As for recently, this approach has led to wonderful new projects revolving on-campus living, installations for musical festivals and innovation, expanding the team’s social relevance and versatility
